Trip page
A jaunt’s own page brings everything together. These are its real pieces,
from src/web/components/trip/, with the sample trip.
Who’s in it
Section titled “Who’s in it”Everyone who’s joined, as a row of small avatars that wraps onto a second line. Photo, or initials.
Weather card
Section titled “Weather card”Once places and dates have a leader (or are decided), the trip page sums them up in one photo card over the place’s picture:
- Where: the city and country, with a “7 day Jaunt” chip
- When: the dates and year, then the average high and low for that month (see Icons)
- Stay: the leading stay’s card, with its price per person and rating
Voting deadline
Section titled “Voting deadline”The voting deadline, with how many days are left and how each poll is going (chip colours).
An admin gets a pencil. It opens the deadline: change the date, or turn the deadline off.
Your checklist
Section titled “Your checklist”Your own to-do list for the trip: every document on Docs & Tix as an action (“Passport in date”, “Sort out Travel Insurance”), plus “Buy train 1 tickets” for each train that needs tickets. Tick one off with its toggle and a toast confirms it (“Travel insurance checked off”). A Nudged chip shows under anything an admin has nudged you about.
The card only appears once there’s something on it.
How and Docs & Tix
Section titled “How and Docs & Tix”How and Docs & Tix each get a section on the trip page:
- While voting: locked, with a red “Locked until voting is complete” chip. There’s no way in yet: the plan isn’t settled.
- Once voting closes: a chevron opens the page, and a chip counts what’s been added (“2 routes added”), or says “No activity” while it’s empty.
